NEW THINGS TO OFFER
Go Beyond the Scale.
Body Composition Analysis is the Key.
Body composition analysis refers to measuring your body composition, generally known as your body's muscle, fat, and water. Instead of focusing on a single number on your scale, body composition analysis allows you to focus on losing body fat and gaining muscle while retaining the proper amount of body water in specific areas of your body.
Body composition analysis is the key to tracking and maintaining effective weight loss. Weight loss is not the same as fat loss. Instead of tracking how heavy you are, use body composition analysis to track how healthy you really are.
The InBody Test Result Sheet will show your body fat, muscle, and body water, giving you a better understanding of your weight and health.
Semaglutide (GLP-1) & Tirzepatide (GIP & GLP-1):
A Promising Weight Loss Drug
Semaglutide (GLP 1-drug): is a breakthrough treatment for people who struggle with serious, chronic weight management challenges. First isolated as an effective diabetes drug, this insulin-boosting medication is now available to patients who need to lose a significant amount of weight in a consistent way and achieve results over the long-term.
How Semaglutide Works
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) receptor agonist. It micmics the effects of GLP-1, a natural hormone that regulates appetite and blood sugar levels. By activating GLP-1receptors in the brain.
Reduced appetite and hunger: It signals the brain to reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness or satiety, which can lead to eating less.
Delayed gastric emptying: Semaglutide slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach, contributing to feeling fuller for longer.
Improves blood sugar control: This is particularly relevant for individuals with type II diabetes.
Common side effects: GI issues; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Other side effects reported also included; dizziness, fatigue, headaches, and in rare cases, more serious conditions like pancreatitis or gallbladder issues.
Important considerations
Semaglutide is a prescription medication used for weight loss.
Eligibility criteria: You must have a BMI of 30 or higher (obesity), or a BMI of 27 or higher (overweight) with at least one weight-related condition such as type II diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.
Lifestyle Changes: Semaglutide is intended to be used in conjunction with lifestyle modifications, such as a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Tirzepatide (GIP & GLP-1 drug): Tirzepatide is a medication that has shown promising results in weight loss, particularly in individuals with obesity or overweight who also have weight related conditions like high blood pressure, type II diabetes, or high cholesterol. It is available as a once-weekly injection and sold under the brand names Mounjaro used for type II diabetes and Zepbound used for weight management.
How Tirzepatide Works
Tirzepatide works by mimicking two natural two naturally occurring hormones in the body: GIP and GLP-1. These hormones regulate blood sugar, digestion, and appetite. By activating the receptors for both GIP & GLP-1, tirzepatide helps with weight loss through several mechanisms:
Appetite regulation: It signals to the brain that you are full, helping you feel satisfied with less food.
Slowed gastric emptying: It slows down the passage of food through the digestive track, contributing to prolonged feelings of fullness.
Improved insulinresponse: It enhances insulin secretion, which helps regulate blood sugar levels and may indirectly influence fat storage and metabolism.
Important Considerations while using Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide is most effective when combined with diet and exercise.
Its effects are sustained only as long as you take the medication.
Common side effects include gastrointestinal issues nausea, diarrhea, & vomiting, but these often improve over time.
It's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional to determine if tirzepatide is the right treatment option for you, considering its potential benefits, side effects, and your individual health profile.
