Body composition analysis refers to measuring your body composition, generally known as your body's muscle, fat, and water. How Semaglutide Works

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) receptor agonist. It micmics the effects of GLP-1, a natural hormone that regulates appetite and blood sugar levels. By activating GLP-1receptors in the brain. 

• Reduced appetite and hunger: It signals the brain to reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness or satiety, which can lead to eating less.

It is available as a once-weekly injection and sold under the brand names Mounjaro used for type II diabetes and Zepbound used for weight management. 

How Tirzepatide Works

Tirzepatide works by mimicking two natural two naturally occurring hormones in the body: GIP and GLP-1. These hormones regulate blood sugar, digestion, and appetite. By activating the receptors for both GIP & GLP-1, tirzepatide helps with weight loss through several mechanisms:

• Slowed gastric emptying: It slows down the passage of food through the digestive track, contributing to prolonged feelings of fullness.

Mr. Sydoine is an enthusiastic Managing director of Unitedhands Health & Wellness Clinic. He went to Georgia State University where he received his associate degree  in Business Administration (ABA) and then went to Chamberlain College of nursing to pursue his nursing degree as a BSN. He loves to care for people and will go an extra mile to deliver high quality patient care. Mr. Sydoine was an electrician (Journeyman) for over 20 years  prior to becoming a Nurse. His passion for the people made him to further his education in the medical field. He truly enjoys taking care of his patients and the best thing that ever happened to him was to get a career in medical to help others.
